Bernal Cutlery - Flying Fish Dashi Packets

Bernal Cutlery exclusive line of dashi packets made for them in Japan. This rich dashi has dried ago (flying fish) added to the traditional blend of katsuo (bonito), iwashi (sardines), shiitake and kombu, packing a strong punch of flavor.

Instructions

For broth: Place 1 dashi packet in 500-600ml of cold water, heat on low-medium until it reaches a soft boil. Turn heat down to low and boil for 5 minutes while occasionally stirring. You can also use a cold brew method by putting the packet in water overnight in the fridge.
