Crafted by Rhymer Knives in Athens, GA. Hand-made by Zach Rhymer using marine grade stainless steel. This has a unique blade profile and like many of his knives is on the taller side which is something that I have always preferred. It gives you more versatility in the kitchen having a taller knife. Kiritsuke's have a k tip and flatter profile than a standard chef's knife.
With Zach's preferred Walkschliff grind, a difficult and unique compound grind that creates an "egg-shaped" edge, this knife offers excellent food release while remaining lightweight and sturdy. Rarely seen outside the highest-end European cutlery, this old German-style grind is a testament to Zach's expertise in the industry.
Comes with a custom Rhymer Knife Bag.
