We proudly offer Burlap and Barrel's Za'atar - a staple ingredient in Palestinian cuisine since forever! Za'atar is not just a name, it's a flavorful blend of a special type of oregano, sesame, sumac, and salt. Add it to any dish, from roasted meats to fresh veggies, and enjoy the delicious savory, herbal, piney, nutty, tart, and peppery flavors. Our team of farmers, millers, entrepreneurs, and more (including a supportive father-in-law!) worked tirelessly to bring this exotic spice to you, our fellow food enthusiasts. It's a testament to our shared passion and pride for the land, the people, and the culture. When we say "heirloom spices," we're talking about Za'atar.
