In 1856, Giuseppe Sambonet established his company, Sambonet. In its first years, the company became the Official Purveyor to many noble families, including the Duchess of Genoa and the Count of Turin. Sambonet is now known for supplying world-class restaurants, hotels, and private homes. Today, designers such as Gio Ponti and Anna Castelli Ferrieri have created collections with Sambonet and have won awards for Good Design in both the United States and Europe.
